Early Childhood Education – Service Leader

Salary: $80,385.24 per annum

Closing: Friday 7 August 2026

Full Time – Permanent

An exciting opportunity is available for a suitably qualified and experienced early childhood professional to join Arthur Dickmann Children’s Centre as our Service Leader.

As Service Leader, you will play a key role in continuing to strengthen and develop the services leadership structure while supporting educators, children, and families to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Arthur Dickmann Children’s Centre operates Monday to Friday from 7.15am to 5.30pm, providing long day care and kindergarten programs for up to 100 children.

The service has a long-standing reputation for innovation and excellence in early childhood education, with a strong commitment to sustainability initiatives, building strong community connections, child and family inclusion and support.

Our welcoming and inclusive environment offers spacious, well-resourced learning spaces filled with natural light, where children, families and educators experience a strong sense of belonging.

The leadership team consists of Service Leader, Second in Charge (2IC) and Administration Officer. All roles are office based. The educational leader role is integrated within the second in charge position, supported by the service leader.

The Service Leader role works closely with the organisations Early Years leadership team, who offer guidance in budgeting, staff recruitment and mentoring, professional development opportunities and networking and leadership support.

Requirements for this position:

  • Minimum Diploma of early Childhood Education and Care
  • Current First Aid – HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
  • Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check Card (WWCC)
  • Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood
  • Foundations of Child Safety Training
